Péter Weiler's exhibition Key Under the Stone is a virtual walk through the streets of Lake Balaton.

We peek through fences into the time capsules of summer cottages, revealing micro-worlds that preserve the memories of generations. Waiting for guests, waiting for relatives... sharing the fleeting moments of summer. Come, the key is under the stone...

One of Péter Weiler's central themes is Lake Balaton, its history, material culture and architecture.

He took his latest pictures in Aracs in the summer of 2022.

He will give a speech at the exhibition:

• Szabolcs Erdélyi, owner of Hybridart Management and Jókai 7 Gallery,

• Júlia Bacsek, art historian and

• Péter Weiler, who will be giving a guided tour during the evening, where the inspiring source of the images will be presented, mixed with personal stories.

Get to know the Jókai 7 art center:

Hybridart Management launched its creative agency in 2005, which has since worked on the implementation of numerous domestic and international programs. As their name suggests, their projects are hybrid, as their ideas step outside of classic forms and frameworks, creating a new perspective and context. All this using the tools of design and art; in a language that we all perceive, understand and speak.

This year, Hybridart dreamed big in Mindszentkálla, in the Balaton Uplands, and thus Jókai 7 was born, which will become the newest cultural hub in the area in the future.

In addition to the current exhibition, they are preparing several exciting events in the renovated barn building throughout August, so it will be worth following them.
