CHERRY-PICKING in JÓKAI 7!

Zita Sárvári brings us her next exhibition of the season as part of the Heart & Cherry Limited Editions project.

Heart & Cherry Limited Editions creates low-volume serigraphs and objects in collaboration with the most prominent creators of contemporary Hungarian fine art.

The project collaborates with a different emerging artist every year:

2020 - Zsófi Barabás, Zsuzsa Moizer, Márton Nemes
2021 - József Csató, Judit Kis
2022 - Márk Fridvalszki, Ádám Dallos, Júlia Néma, Péter Puklus
2023 - Zsófi Barabás, Botond Keresztesi
2024 - Stephen Dukai

Its goal is to restore the prestige of serigraphy, which was popular in the fine arts in the 60s and 70s, to dispel misconceptions about it, and to bring the genre closer to the public.

Heart & Cherry Limited Editions gives the newest generation of collectors the opportunity to enter the art market risk-free, and also makes the works of the defining creators of the contemporary Hungarian art canon available to a wide audience through screen prints and lithographs.

Zita Sárvári is an art consultant and curator with over 10 years of experience. Her work focuses on discovery, presenting alternatives to the prevailing canon, fresh and new approaches, helping new artists enter the market, and introducing Hungarian artists living abroad to the domestic audience.
He founded Heart & Cherry Limited Editions in 2020 to provide a concept-driven and context-aware platform for limited edition screenprints.

JÓKAI 7 is pleased to present the activities of Heart & Cherry Limited Editions over the past five years and, within the framework of the project, brings together the most exciting names in contemporary Hungarian fine art within a single exhibition.
