Screen printing is more than a technique — it is a ritual that connects the artist to the paper and the paint again and again. This slow, layered process preserves the presence of the creator in every movement: the drawing of the paint, the movement of the frame, the overlapping of the pigments all bear the mark of the hand. In this meditative rhythm, the tool of reproduction rises to an independent artistic language.

Printa Edition works in the spirit of this approach: it forms a bridge between traditional techniques and contemporary creative thinking. Its exhibitions are complemented by limited edition serigraphs made in its own workshop – its aim is to invite creators from different art forms to a dialogue: how they are able to abandon their usual tools and translate their own visual language into the world of screen printing.

The exhibition OFF SITE focuses on this crossing of boundaries — both literally and symbolically. This time, Printa leaves its usual Budapest space and presents its serigraphy collection in Mindszentkállá, at the exhibition space of JÓKAI 7. The works of painters, illustrators, photographers, and graphic artists are on display here – mostly works by artists who, stepping outside their own medium, have transferred their thoughts to a new medium.

Exhibiting artists: Oleksandra BALYTSKA, Tibor HORVÁTH, Dániel LABROSSE, Balázs LOBOT, Zita MAJOROS, Sandra POLIAKOV, Anna SZABÓ, Krisztina SZALAY, Sári SZÁNTÓ, Dániel Bálint VARGA

As part of the exhibition, a pop-up fair featuring Printa's clothing will also be held.

The Official Bubble Supplier of the event is Hungaria Champagne.

Printa has been operating on Rumbach Sebestyén Street in Budapest for over 15 years as one of Hungary's first eco-conscious concept stores. Behind the name is a design shop, art gallery and screen printing studio all in one place: limited edition, uniquely designed clothes, posters, souvenirs, home accessories and screen prints are made here in small quantities, locally, from recycled, organic or innovative materials.
