About us

Dorottya Baktai and Katalin Németh, the founders of RePityke, have been designing and making unique bags and accessories since 2015. They process valuable, reusable textile, leather, upholstery materials, and molinos in an innovative way that meets both modern trends and sustainable principles. Since 2021, the brand has focused primarily on community-building recycling workshops, during which interested parties can explore their own creativity by trying out exciting materials.

At RePityke, we believe that reusing and bringing materials back into circulation serves a sustainable future. We represent this approach not only with our bags to this day, but also in our various workshops.

Our connection to Lake Balaton and the Balaton Uplands region

Every summer we relax for a while at Kati's summer house on Lake Balaton and weave our latest plans and dreams. Sometimes we discover new directions, sometimes we return to an old feeling. We ripple, we live like the lake, which is constantly changing, thereby inspiring us.
