About me

I have been creating my urban graphics since 2012, my main theme is Budapest, where I live. I collect moods, feelings, and architectural styles. In addition, I also create graphics of other favorite places that I often visit, such as Lake Balaton, Vienna, and Rijeka. I like to depict nature and the built environment together and fill them with life. In addition to my own drawings, I also work as an illustrator and book designer.

My connection to Lake Balaton, an unbroken passion since my childhood. I feed on my memories, I want to take those who are sensitive to it back to the Balaton of the 80s. As a child, I was lucky because I had a few really rock'n'roll summers, because my father toured the Balcsi area as a sound engineer for the coolest Hungarian bands. At that time, the family was also provided with accommodation, so sometimes we could spend half the summer on Lake Balaton. They took us to concerts several times a week, in the evenings, and during the day this whole musical circus relaxed in the beach bars, while we kids dug the roads into the mud.

I love the north coast, and I love the south coast. In the north, the wines, the landscape, the elegance, the greenery, and the still-present past. In the south, the sunsets, the knee-deep water, the piers, the lame fish bodegas, and the holiday homes hidden under the pine forests.

It's 40 degrees outside in the shade right now. We need to realize that the consumer lifestyle we live is unsustainable. I don't hate the city, I love living in it, but we should pay more attention to it. I've been doing everything I can to protect the environment for years. I've been cycling for over ten years, composting on my balcony, watering with bath water, growing plants and not piling up trash.

As a graphic artist, I also think small, printing my small-series art prints on recycled paper. The risograph process uses an absolutely biodegradable ink system consisting of banana fibers and soybean oil. My larger screen prints are also made with water-based, environmentally friendly ink.

Since my profile is in the printing industry, I pay attention to the extent of my possibilities to reuse “paper waste”. My pictures are available in few shops, I strive for quality rather than quantity. My goal is not material and material gain, but rather respect for the things we have, be it a building, a natural landscape, clothes or any value, and my goal is to preserve and protect it.
