(HU) The life of Barnabás Mátyás Herkli is bumpy, extreme, but cheerful and full of adventures. He studied architecture in Sopron for a long time. After spending a few years in architectural offices, he realized that this life was not his milieu, he almost completely left the profession, thought about it and went to study animation filmmaking and illustration. Since the professional change, he has been making his own short films, comics, and also making travel diaries about his experiences during his travels abroad, illustrated with short, humorous stories and drawings.

The material exhibited here is a series of caricatures presenting the Balaton lifestyle, which draw on situations in Balaton known and experienced by every Hungarian with due irony.

His works are characterized by typification and subtle social criticism - their central element is the stereotyping of the everyday life and fallibility of ordinary people.
