In Balaton Method, 18 Hungarian bands – including Quimby, Middlemist Red, Soerii & Poolek, Elefánt, Bin-Jip, Subscribe – and hundreds of other musical contributors joined forces to create a complete evening of Kodály Method videos by Bálint Szimler and Marcell Rév. Two bands – Punnany Massif and Akkezdet Phiai – also came up with a new song specifically for Balaton Method.

The Balaton Method is the first Hungarian film to be made with crowdfunding.
